Ronaldo’s Roshn Saudi League debut is set to be watched live by millions of fans across the globe on TV and social media

Millions of football fans across 125 countries will tune in to watch Cristiano Ronaldo’s momentous Roshn Saudi League debut tonight, 8:30PM AST (5:30PM GMT)
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s arrival at Al Nassr has generated incredible interest across the globe and has sparked fresh demand for the game to be shown live internationally.
Now, Ronaldo fans from Sao Paulo to Shanghai, Ankara to Anchorage, will be able to settle down for ‘watch parties’ to see how the Portuguese superstar adapts to the new challenge of the Saudi league.
With a combined household reach numbering in the hundreds of millions, broadcasters including ESPN in the United States, Direct TV across South and Central America, CCTV in China, S-Sport in Turkey and ZDF, Sky Italia and L’Equipe in Europe have joined Sport TV in Ronaldo’s native Portugal to show the game, and a host of other Saudi fixtures, across the remainder of 2022/23.

Roshn Saudi League is the top division of Saudi Arabian football. The 16-team competition is widely considered Asia’s strongest.
Ronaldo is the latest international star to appear in Roshn Saudi League, joining a list of players which includes Ever Banega, Andre Carrillo, Helder Costa, Oscar Duarte, Luiz Gustavo, Ahmed Hegazi, Odion Ighalo, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Moussa Marega, Fabio Martins, David Ospina, Petros and Marcel Tisserand among many others.
