AL WEHDA 1-4 AL KHALEEJ
Al Khaleej boosted their survival hopes at the expense of Al Wehda’s with an important win.
The visitors led 2-1 by 18 minutes when Pedro Amaral and Morato’s strikes met a response from Hazzaa Al Ghamdi. But further goals followed from Sokol Cikalleshi and Morato.
Al Khaleej remain 14th, one spot above the drop zone. Al Wehda are now only two-points ahead of them, in 13th.
AL TAAWOUN 2-1 AL TAI
Al Taawoun secured a top-five finish with victory versus Al Tai.
Fahad Al Rashidi’s opener was cancelled out by Mohammed Harzan for visitors who separated from head coach Mirel Radoi last week. Cameroon centre forward Leandre Tawamba would then settle it.
Al Taawoun are fifth and Al Tai are eighth.
AL ADALAH 2-0 AL HILAL
10-man Al Adalah remained in the mix for survival with victory versus 2021/22 champions Al Hilal.
Marcus Antonsson and Pedro Eugenio struck in both halves.
Al Adalah are 15th, level on points with Al Khaleej. Al Hilal are fourth.
AL NASSR 3-2 AL SHABAB
Ronaldo’s stunning goal saw Al Nassr rebound from two-goals down to earn essential victory versus Al Shabab in an unforgettable Riyadh Derby.
Cristian Guanca struck twice for the visitors within 40 minutes of kick-off, meaning Al Nassr’s were poised to concede the title. But Talisca, Abdulrahman Ghareeb and Ronaldo turned it around.
Al Nassr stay second, three-points behind Al Ittihad. Al Shabab are a distant third.
