AL TAI 1-0 ABHA
Algeria winger Amir Sayoud struck from close range to secure narrow victory against Abha and end Al Tai’s three-match drawing run.
Sayoud swept in a cross from Zimbabwe forward Knowledge Musona.
Al Tai are seventh, while Abha sit 10th.
AL ADALAH 2-1 AL TAAWOUN
Pedro Eugenio struck within 21 seconds when promoted Al Adalah maintained their push against relegation with a win over Al Taawoun.
Eugenio and a long-range strike from David Tijanic opened up a 2-0 half-time lead. Al Taawoun were unable to build on Sumayhan Al Nabit’s 51st-minute effort.
Al Adalah are 14th and Al Taawoun are sixth.
AL ITTIHAD 2-1 AL SHABAB
Title rivals exchanged penalties on an incredible night in front of almost 50,000 fans at King Abdullah Sports City, from which Al Ittihad’s Abderrazak Hamdallah netted the decisive goal.
The Moroccot striker converted in the 18th and 107th minutes, with Cristian Guanca previously levelling up from 12 yards for Al Shabab past the hour mark.
Al Ittihad stay first and Al Shabab stick at third.
AL FATEH 1-1 AL WEHDA
Former LaLiga starts Cristian Tello and Faycal Fajr exchanged goals when Al Fateh drew with 10-man Al Wehda.
Ex-Barcelona star Tello fired in the 13th-minute opener, which was levelled on 63 minutes by Fajr’s spot-kick.
Al Fateh are fifth and Al Wehda are 13th.
ETTIFAQ 2-0 DAMAC
Youssoufou Niakate again left it late to deliver a vital victory for Ettifaq against 10-man Damac.
The French forward netted in the 89th and 96th minutes for caretaker Antonio Cazorla’s men.
Ettifaq move up to eighth, Damac are ninth.
AL NASSR 4-0 AL RAED
Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring when title-chasing Al Nassr returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner headed home on four minutes. Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Mohammed Maran and Abdulmajeed Al Sulaiheem completed the scoring after the break.
Al Nassr are second and Al Raed are 11th.
AL FAYHA 0-3 AL KHALEEJ
Al Khaleej raced towards a vital victory in their scrap against relegation.
Albania striker Sokol Cikalleshi’s penalty-kick got them under way. Fabio Martins and Andre Biyogo Poko added further goals.
Al Fayha sit 12th and Khaleej stay 15th.
