What happened when Al Hilal hosted Al Khaleej in Roshn Saudi League

A brace from prolific Al Hilal striker Odion Ighalo made the difference when holders Al Hilal welcomed promoted Al Khaleej for Saturday’s rescheduled matchweek 16 clash.
Details and match highlights are below:
AL HILAL 2-0 KHALEEJ
A first-half double from Ighalo secured Al Hilal’s valuable win against Al Khaleej when domestic action resumed after the international break.
Ramon Diaz’s side – who are playing catch-up because of their FIFA Club World Cup and AFC Champions League commitments – went ahead in the 39th-minute, through Ighalo’s smart turn and rasping finish.
Their advantage was doubled deep into first-half injury time when the lethal Nigeria centre forward converted a penalty kick, moving onto 14 league goals for the campaign. This is just one fewer than leading scorer Abderrazak Hamdallah of Al Ittihad.
Victory kept Al Hilal in fourth, eight points behind Al Ittihad in first place. They have another game in hand, however, on Tuesday at Al Fayha.
